2. Purpose of Data Use

  • To process registrations, submissions, communication outcomes and coordinate event participation
  • To publish accepted abstracts in event proceedings, websites, or promotional materials, winners’ names and affiliations on NCOSH platforms.
  • To improve future events through anonymized analytics.

3. Data Sharing

  • Data is shared only with NCOSH-approved partners (e.g., judges, tech providers) for event execution.
  • Abstracts and author names/affiliations may be shared with reviewers, event partners, or media outlets
  • Personal contact details (e.g., email, phone) are never sold or shared with third parties for marketing.
  • No data is sold to third parties.

4. Data Retention

  • Personal data is retained for 2-year post-event for archival purposes and for legal compliance.
  • Submissions may be archived indefinitely for promotional purposes.
  • Abstracts may be retained indefinitely in NCOSH’s research repository.

5. Participant Rights

  • Request access, correction, or deletion of personal data via info@goshconference.com.
  • Opt out of promotional communications (excluding critical event updates).

6. Security

  • Data is encrypted and stored on secure servers.
  • Virtual platforms comply with Saudi Arabia’s Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL).

7. Consent

  • By registering & submitting an abstract, participants consent to data processing as outlined in this policy.

8. Policy Updates

  • Policy changes will be notified via email or the NCOSH website. Continued participation implies acceptance.
